Beating Around the Bush

1. Where will the convention be held?
Unley High School, Kitchener Street, Netherby, South Australia, about a five minute drive from Country Bumpkin

4th-9th October 2009

3. How long do the classes run?

We will offer a six hour class on Sunday 4th, a twelve hour class spreading across Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th, and a twelve hour class spreading across Thursday 8th and Friday 9th.

4. How much will it cost?
$175 per day includes tuition, evening entertainment, morning and afternoon tea, goodie bag and transport to and from selected hotels. Kits are not included in the class fees and are to be purchased from the tutor before the start of class.

5. When will the programme be available?
Our collector's edition 44 page programme will be available in November 2008 for Au$5, which is refundable when you book your class. You will also have the option, in November, to download your copy via the Country Bumpkin website.

6. Can anyone attend?
Each class description will be marked with the level of skill required.
ALL - suitable for everyone and no previous experience in the technique is required.
INTERMEDIATE - suitable for those who already have some experience in the technique being taught.
ADVANCED - designed to extend the knowledge and technique of someone with experience.

7. I REALLY want to attend Beating Around the Bush 2009 - how can I be sure to receive a place?
There are 20 places allocated to each class. Bookings received will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so be sure to sign up to receive the weekly online newsletter to be among the first to order your programme in printed or online format.

8. I'd like to bring my family - will you provide any entertainment for them?
Children's classes will be held on each day of the convention for children aged 8 and up. We have entertainment suggestions for partners, including golf and tourist attractions.

9. Can I participate in just one class or do I have to book for the full 5 days?
You can absolutely opt to participate in just one class. Keep in mind that Sunday's classes are the only classes that run for just one day. The rest of the week's classes spread over two days.

10. I'm practically packing my bags already... what will the weather be like during the Convention?
2,500 hours of sunshine a year means South Australians enjoy outdoor living almost all year round. October is spring time, so you can expect mild temperatures ranging from around 20-25 degrees Celsius.
