Hello everyone, I am so excited that this wonderful forum will be held again. This is my second visit.
At the first convention I attended as a single woman - this time I will bring my husband and my two children. This will be a wonderful holiday for all of us! The skills that I acquired previously were invaluable. I met some lovely like-minded, crazy ladies, enjoyed much laughter and brought home some fabulous treasures that I am still enjoying today!
If you can only attend one conference in your life time - make it Beating Around the Bush 2009!

I attended the 2003 BATB in Adelaide and had a FABULOUS time. I came from Perth, WA and was a little bit daunted being on my own, but by the time dinner was over on the first evening I already had a new circle of friends.
I met loads of lovely ladies, learnt lots of new skills and had lots of laughs.
I still keep in touch with the some of the ladies I met, and hope to catch up with them again at the next BATB. I’ve been waiting patiently for the next event and now I can happily pencil it into my calendar.

I am sooooo excited that Beating Around the Bush is coming in 2009, and is not too far away.
I came to Adelaide for the last Beating Around the Bush in 2003, and I made a heap of new friends, thoroughly enjoyed my classes, loved the market day, and went home thoroughly inspired to improve my needlework ( I think I have come a long way since 2003 lol ).
I am looking forward so much to the announcement of the classes and for me it will be hard to choose which ones I book in for!!!!! I can’t wait to see the classes program and learn from such talented people again.

I did attend the last BATB and had a very enjoyable and instructive time. It's interesting and really nice that plans include many new instructors as well as the exceptionally great "old and familiar" too.

I am very excited to see that you are holding another of your Beating around the Bush needlework conventions in October 2009.
I am from Hamilton New Zealand and I will definately be there to enjoy the so many wonderful tutors that you have coming.
I would especially like to do a class with Jane Nicholas as I admire her work and books so much. We do not get the calibre of tutors that you seem to have in Australia.

I was so excited this morning to receive your email about the next Beating Around The Bush Convention.
My daughter was a baby when I attended the last one, so this must have been in 2003 ... Gee has it been that long?
I look forward to coming to Adelaide in October 2009, enrolling in some of my favourite classes and visiting your wonderful shop again...this is my treat for 2009... 4 days with no kids, no husband and needlework heaven!
