"What impressed me most about this book was that it wasn't just a stitch guide; it's also filled with a wealth of information including a historical perspective on crewel embroidery, lots of little tidbits including how to transfer your design properly and even how to bind a hoop or prepare a roller frame. Plus there are 16 projects included with full-size patterns." Plus a giveaway of the book "Wanting to learn a new form of embroidery or are you simply looking for a reference guide to your favourite craft? Then look no further because this exquisitely photographed book is just for you. In fact, it's described as 'the ultimate resource for beginning and experienced needleworkers". Filled with over 500 step-by-step photos, tips and techniques plus 16 projects to tempt you. We have three of these 'must-have' books to giveaway"

'A-Z of Crewel Embroidery, the eighth book of the A-Z Needlework Series, depicts forty-nine intriguing stitches in process photographs. Using them to create colorful surfaces of trellis-and laid work should satisfy any self-respecting needle worker, but the book also provides sixteen luscious floral designs, full-size patterns, a concise history of crewelwork, a discussion of tools and techniques, and a bibliography.'

Thank you for sending my A-Z of Crewel Embroidery. I am very pleased with it as I have been with all the other A-Z books I have purchased. I have not attempted any projects but will do so in the near future.
