I have recently made a christening gown out of the embroidered christening gowns book, Delight (the one on the cover), in the pale pink silk for my newest grand daughter Savannah Rose. She looked absolutely gorgeous on her naming day. The smocking across the double fabrics was tricky but Im so glad I persevered. I really do enjoy embroidery so Im so pleased I have started it again, many thanks for your wonderful magazines and your online store I\'m glad I\'m a subscriber so I dont miss any new outfits or ideas, thanks again

Styles range from simple outfits to elaborate dresses and each one is beautifully embellished with heirloom sewing techniques including inserted lace, pin-tucking, embroidery and smocking. Each garment uses a combination of machine and hand stitching and trace-off pattern instructions for sewing the garments and embellishing them.
